I have a 1.1 mk2 fiesta which the engine is on its last legs. I have a mk5 fiesta zetec s lying around as the shell is rotton. So. How hard is it swap the engine into my mk2 and has anyone got any infomation on what i need and wiring diagrams? Cheers darren

Seems strange the MK5 has rotted already, anyway the 1600 Zetec-SE engine you have has no resemblance to the other Zetec's barring the name, the inlet and exhaust are on opposing sides, hence what has been mentioned about the inlet being in the way.

I believe the 2L Zetec, however, is almost a direct fit barring some fabrication to engine mounts, so this may be a better path to take?

Also you may be surprised to know the SE engine is almost certainly lighter than your current Valencia engine.
