99 Focus won't start......
 

Right, im getting fed up with this lemon of a car.

Car would start no problems the other day, ignition on and start, off we go, i had the car on my drive idling on my drive for 5 mins, i turned it off, the car then started turning over but at a slightly slower pace.
i removed the battery from the car (after trying to jump it as i just thought the batt was low) checked levels and stuck it on charge and even now its cranking over at the same speed..... SLOW

what am i looking at possibilty wise? it sounds the starter is turning but isnt giving it enough umph to engage the starter bendix onto the ring gear, thats what it sounds like anyway.

could still be a duff battery. easiest thing to start with by swapping for a known good one.

checked batt and it was fine, running rough though..
