NGK SPARK PLUG's

can i use the RS500 p/n BCR8ES
on my 4x4 which they say should use p/n R7435-9
what is the differance aprt from £16 more
or what plugs should i use its a 4x4 stage 1

I was told by a reliable source that std ford (e.g. motorcraft) ones for a stage 1 4x4 are fine.
