Can't get reverse......??
 

I seem to have a problem getting my escort cosworth 4x4 into reverse gear,
1,2,3,4 and 5 are working fine, just can't get reverse?
I have tryed it when the engine is off and it still won't go in.

I have been told it might be the gear selector?
If it is, this any idea where I can buy one from, and is it a nightmare to fit?

Is the lifter on the gear stick working ok if its ok it box of and send it in to be reworked

it could be the spring on the gate inside the box they are really weak and prone to snapping.
