Need help disconecting the filler pipe from the tank. I've disconected the fuel pump pipe and unbolted the retaining bolts and strap but the tank is now hanging from the filler pipe. Cant see how it disconnects. Can anyone help? Cheers.

there is a star head screw in were you put the petrol,unscrew that and bring the filler neck out with the tank.

As said there is a screw or two securing the filler pipe to the body where the fuel goes.
Much easier to do this way as well, though can be undone first if needed.

the filler neck simply pushes into a bung at the tank end, give it a wiggle and it will just pull out from the tank

There's a smaller 1/2" approx pipe running from filler neck to tank, if removing the float assembly use a new gasket, there are two different ones listed, it is the smaller of the two that is needed, but they're cheap enough.
