hi all,

i have a zetec turbo fiesta but i am wanting to build a new bottom end, thing is i only have a rs1800 engine to hand

can the 1800 be bored out to a 2000 ?
and are the cranks the same on a 1.8 and 2.0?

its a sivertop too if this makes any difference,

It can not, but the cranks are the same.

does anyone make forged pistons for the 1800 ? all i can seem to find is 2.0 ones ?

I hello mate i have a spare block and crank and some other odds and sods inc a fully ported silver top head to take 1 mm oversize valves which i am thinking of selling and modded cam cover

its a 2.0ltr out of a mondeo i had years ago

you can bore it 2.5mm over which is roughly 1930cc. PEC do pistons for 1800 in forged material.
