Angry fiesta courier not turning over

hi guys, new member here, im after some advice, please bare with while i explain the situation. i have a 1998 fiesta courier van 1.8 straight diesel, i suspected the diesel pump went so opted for a engine swap as old engine was noisey, the engine i have put in is out of a 1998 escort, (this was pure agro), everything seemed different, i had to take off almost all accsilaries, plus the escort engine had no pwoer steering fitted, anyway its in, dash has power, but when you turn the key you get nothing at all, i put a meter on the battery thats good, and the starter is also got power, i thought maybe the flywheel had got abit rusty and rusted to the clutch plate so we towed it round the block in gear and it still does not do anything, whilst towing it it did sound like it wanted to go but thats obviously because the d pump runs off timing belt pulley. also the rad fan comes on when you turn the key, i know its probably a wring problem but theres no spare ones i can see? there is one big connector that is now redundant becasue that used to plug onto the old diesel pump but the new pump has no wiring whatsoever, this is way too frustrating, and im totally out of ideas, can any help?

constant flashing is a sensor fault, iirc or key not recognised.

iirc = if i remember correctly.
turn the ign on,led flashes for about a min, then it goes into fault code reading.i/e
1 flash
pause
3 flashes = fault code 13
or
1 flash
pause
5 flashes = fault code 15

find out what yours are,and post them up.

code 32 is the evp sensor.part of the egr system.exhaust gas recirculation.
i dont think that would stop the engine from starting.
i think the problem is that the fuel pump has a imobilizer fitted, and you need to swap the imobilizer over from the old unit.its behind a tamper proof cover.

rite, that seems to have worked but now theres a new problem, no fuel was getting through, so i rigged up a clear filter and fuel lines, sucked up some fuel to make sure of no blockage but now the fuel is not getting pulled into engine, does it need blleding and if so where is the bleed valve on the escort pump?
