Default 1990 sierra 2000e change auto to manual

hi jsut got a 2.0l twin cam 2000e auto but im looking to change it to manual and was wondering if any one has done it on here before or knows whats bits are needed to do this ?

iv changed from auto to t9 box if this helps

the only problem you will have is the bell housing is different on a auto the starteer motor is on a different side mate there is you answer

To do it you need a manual twin cam sump, flywheel and starter plus whatever box you want to fit, you would really want a mt75 as these are easy enough to get hold of plus the relevent prop shaft and a pedal box. Hope this helps

why do u need to change the sump ??

looking to put mt75 in it

probably because the sump lines up with the old autobox at the side, but is different compared to a manual

The manual sump is cutaway around the starter mounting possition but the auto one is cutaway on the opposite side and sticks out where the starter would sit on the manual MT75 or type 9 box.
