Default 8.8 grade M12 bolts - caliper bolt

I'm in the middle of fitting Cosworth brakes to my RS Turbo. I just want to make sure that the M12 grade - 8.8 are up to the job?

8.8's will be ok, but if you plan to use the brakes properly i'd be fitting 12.9's for sure.

I really cant see an 8.8 failing when its M12, but for the price of a few pence for a better bolt, it seems prudent to use a 12.9 IMHO

as i said 8.8's will be fine, just with bolts being so relatively cheap going for a stonger one makes sense.
at least its not stainless as they are weaker.
