Mercur sierra tank???
#2
I've never heard of a sierra 120 litre tank, on any version, there simply isn't space for it on the underside of the car, the std tank is a squeeze at 60 litres.

If you mean Merkur it's a 15 gallon tank and will not fit any European sierra without having the rear floor welded in. Very much like a Mustang tank. Plus it has an in-tank pump, not gravity fed like Cossies.

US Gallons.
The change was to meet US safety regs. The Merkur has full length chassis legs, better bumpers that tie the chassis legs together, different hood that doesn't penetrate the screen etc. If you ignore the weight, the Merkur shell is far superior to the Euro shell for safety, rust protection and stiffness.
