Escort Mk4 engine swap XR3i to Diesel
Hi all!
I'd like to know - are the fitting spots for engine and gearbox the same for the '86 XR3i engine and 1.8 Diesel from '92?
My XR3i has died, so I want to make some Diesel powa!

i did this once, used a n reg mondeo td engine, i had to use the mounts from a mk4 diesel tho, it wasnt much slower then the 3i engine it replaced lol but it did slam the front end with the weight, and ultiately causing me to roll it in the end!! wellthats my excuseanyway lol
