is it the mark for the pulley with the arrow to line up the auz shaft you cant find or is it the mark for the dizzy arm on the dizzy you cant find?

Is it the ford workshop manual you have?

its the mark for the aux pulley to line up with , i cant find one on the block , i have got the dizzy in place with the rotor arm lined up to the notch in the dizzy .

The mark IIRC isnt on the block itself, its a dot on the alum cover plate that goes on before the pulley.

don't worry about the auxilliary shaft position - it doesn't matter what its orientation is, as long as the dizzy is correct

As above can be totally disregarded the aux shaft pulleys position, but yes it is on the aluminium housing around the shaft.
As for collet, any decent machine shop near you that does engines is bound to have some spares/odd ones kicking about, but if still stuck pm me.
