heated rear screen /aerial
 

could you please tell me if the car aerial is integrated with the heated rear screen and if so where it is . thanks

what car m8?

if its a s2 it has a amplfier by the rear wiper motor. they are forever going wrong

if it's a Sapph, it is mounted in the centre of the rear parcel shelf, between the shelf top and the metalwork.

So on a saph whats the lil ariel thing at the top of the window in the middle that has a wire going too it :?

aerial is built into screen m8 amplifier is under parcel shelf in middle HTH

ok i give up ,i cant find anything there,would it be anywhere else? i have a wing aerial on at the moment because no one else could find it either and this used to be a police car so i already had the hole in the wing ,but i dont like it and wanted t o use the window

More than likely had a car phone in it.....

Mines got that wee daft thing too. I thought it was the aeriel for the radio :?

Yeah, mine had a little aerial glued on the outside of the window, with a capacitively coupled plate on the inside with the cable attached..
Part of a carphone installation - all been since pulled out :)
