which gel battery will fit?

I am wondering if there is a gel battery on the market that i can directly fit on my sapphire without converting it to pole terminals?

Any 085, 092, 099 in GEL format fits sierra.
The 085(AGM) is £189.99, 3 years warranty, 95AH and 850CCA., VARTA which is about the best you can get.
This compares with the std VARTA 085 of 44AH and 360CCA.

Hi Tab

do these all have flat terminals or would i have to convert to poles?

These are round terminals I'm afraid, the round to ford adaptors are only £2 each, but shopping around I made one call today and beat this quote down to £145.
The adaptors will no doubt be just what I use, a round post terminal, but instead of putting the cable in the battery post clamp I put a bolt through it and affix the ford terminal/lead to it.
It's a lot of money, but you won't get better for the size.
Most are going for LEISURE batteries these days, as they are semi traction, and deep discharge does no harm, so if left flat for a few months it will do no harm.
