200sx T28: Will it fit a Sierra Saph?
 

As it says, my mate's Sierra Sapphire's turbo is buggered and I've been offered a T28 from a 200sx for good money. Any ideas if it would fit ok or would it need work?

is it a T28 or a T25 ?? s13 or s14

they will fit but with a few small modifications, the only really useful part tbh is the compressor house and wheel and backplate, if its a T28

Hairy muff... His turbo currently has something scary like a few mm of lateral play on the shaft so anything's an improvement! When you say small mods, what do you mean and will it result in less power/reliability compared to the standard turbo?

Edit: It's a T28 from an s14a.
