MK5 Running prob's :(

alright lad's i'v not been on here a while cos of sortin my esco out she's now on the road n in progress, but i was givin her a blast last sun n i'v done summit to 4th gear it's not the linkage cos it only happen's when i'm movin over 10mph or summit, it'll go in 4th like normall but won't come out i have to wiggle it (technicall term) a little back n then it'll pop out , all the other gears seem fine 1st has alway's been a pain to get when movin dunno if that's just car boxes cos used to bein on a bike n hittin 1st when ever u feel like it :) lol, just wonderin if n e one new wot to do with my box:tiff: i'd like better internal's if it's within budget

n i was comin back on the m40 in the snow last week aswell  n i lost power n could only get it to do 40mph, it seem's like electricall cos it's cured itself n i'v only had it come back a couple of times it would just cut out at tickover it'd start right back up again with abit of gas n then cure itself it's abit of a ghost but was just wonderin if n e one has had the same prob or if it's a common fault, i have noticed the tacho moves alot when usin electricall component's like window's or light's n heater so was thinkin maybe an earth or summit, oh yea it's a 1.4 cvh with a coil pack not a dizzy cheer's lad''s
