1.8td to s2 rst
 

i have a mk5 escort with a 1.8td engine in it, just wandering what all i would need to put a s2 erst engine in it and how hard it would be

I think you would need the loom, engine, intercooler, radiator, ECU's, fuel metering unit, fuel accumulator, fuel pump, turbo, exhaust system, I'm sure I've missed something off if so someone will let you know.

I don't know how hard it would be on a MK5 wether or not the speedo etc is the same as the Mk4.

waste of money m8 unless you have a cheap donor car to tranform all the bits over
sell it and buy a s2 :top:

yeah i can get a whole s2 for v. cheap but its rotten just wanted to see how hard it would be and parts that i would need

probly a waste a time and money, just buy a series 2, but if u got time on ur hands go 4 it

i wouldnt say it was a waste of time.. if the car in your sig is yours.. ive seen that somewhere before and it looked quite tidy...
If you have a complete donor car it would be fairly easy to swap everything over! (if you have a general idea about what your doing! :cry: )
