Default 1.6 crossflow radiator

Hi all I have a 1.6 crossflow I took the thermostat out beginning of the summer as it was tending to get hot.. flushed it all through and has been running fine. However I was wondering is the 2 litre pinto rad a larger rad than the 1.6... or could someone recommend a better rad time it that will cool it down better I am going to refit a new thermostat as this will help with a better rad fitted any advice gratefully received
