escort cosworth wheels on a sapphire

hi all,do you need to roll the arches to get these wheels to fit?what tyre size o you use and what size of gap should i keep between the tyre and arch to avoid contact if the wheels are too wide to fit into the arches?cheers, lee

I had escort cossie wheels on my old sierra gt hatchback and i had 215/40r16 goodyear tyres on the wheels. Sometimes they used to catch on the drivers side front arch, but it was only on really bad bumpy roads.

cheers,im off to order the wheels now,i bought a set for my s2 cabbie and they stuck out past the arches by about 40mm,and that was with the s2 kit on,does the steering tend to tramline due to the different offset of the escos wheels?cheers again, lee

escy wheels

i run 215/45/16s with a 60mm drop and dont have any issues,so go get son!

Glenn_ 25-10-2007 02:01 PM

60 mil drop thats alot that do your tyres rub off on the rear. My old sierra was dropped 35mm all round n that used to wear tyres off on the rear.
