EFI Idle problem ( RS TURBO )
 
ok here goes,, i have my escort rs turbo converted to ofab..
my problem is when i blip the throttle the Revs raises and holds for a few seconds before it idles down again..

i've changed the idle speed control valve. and it still does the same..

i took out the chip and it still does the same..

any1 any ideas?? regards dave

my throttle cable was shagged.changed it then it went fine :top: dunno though could be anythin,checked your idle screw? :top:

yeah checked it all, its not the throttle cable as its releasing fine, its really annoying me!!! also my headgaskets blown today!!

As i said on your other post have u set the base idle?

Incorrect mixture could cause this or possibly an air leak.
