ok lads now i have changed crank sensor, fuel filter,fuel pump,map sensor, leads,coil pack, sparkplugs eddis unit and i still have the same problem

Maybe.....It would also be worth checking the CPS is getting a good reading.......

2 things... if its just the regulator that adjusts the pressure between the 1.6 and the 1.6 turbs then both of the pumps must produce more pressure than is needed. HA! because a regulator just bleeds off the excess which is fed back to the tank!
also... for those of you testing a fuel pump in the dry (out of the tank) careful not to run it forlong like 1 or 2 seconds. reason, i have built lots of different types of fuel pumps and can tell you that many have solid carbon shaft seals that stop the fuel from getting into the motor. RUNNIN IT DRY CAN SCORE THIS SEAL AND RENDER THE PUMP USELESS. obviously not all pumps are like this... just be careful. or use an ohms meter to test the resistance of the coil windings of the motor

Not too sure what you're getting at, every fuel pump for every injection system produces more fuel pressure that is needed at idle, becuase obviously you need more fuel at higher speeds and at full boost enrichment.

If the pump produced exactly what was needed the engine would not run consistently......

N/A MFI's don't have a dedicated pressure regulator, its incorporated into the warm-up regulator..........

what im gettin at is the 2i pump is ok for the turbs. i also know someone with a 2i who is using a standard 2i pump with a rst conversion. all runs fine. it develops enough pressure and flow for the rst engine consumption

Ah ok, i forgot this topic wan on EFI's and not MFI's, so what i wrote above bares no relevance.

From what i know im 99% sure the FRST pump is unique, people who have been posting have said when they remove the pump it has turbo marked on it in some way.....and if you look on Microcat there is a seperate part number for the Turbo pump....

tried the co2 adjuster and its still doing it and have put standard injectors back in and its still the same what else can it be

The XR2i and Turbo pump are different, do not fit the XR2i pump into the turbo !!. The turbo pump does have TURBO on it,

had 4 pumps on it mate rs1800,2i and a turbo pump still no difference

FFS as harsh as this sounds, read the fucking posts above, any pump can be used.

anyway back to ya problem.

as you have tried a few bits etc put a litst up in 1 post to say what ya have checked and what ya have changed.

you could have a couple of problems, the turbo not coming in could be a blown intercooler, split/loose boost pipes, weak actuator

the idle can be a few things, vac leak, ISCV, wireing ecu, base idel might need to be reset etc..

check boost system and vac system mate.
have a look at the breather filter too, could be blocked, well it will be a bit anyway
