s2 rs turbo engine, what shell
 
hi people i am just about to pick up a s2 turbo mfi engine, wiring loom ecu gearbox most of the parts i need to drop it into a new shell its a project i want to try and get done by next summer, now i have been looking for something to drop it into apart from the obvious mk4 escort if i could find a xr3i thats solid i would use that but it is also hard trying to find one that isnt a bloody cabbie:wall: any ideas on what other cars i could drop it into without to many big problems if thats possible lol

loads mate mk2 fiesta / mk3 escort / mk5/6 escort and can have power steering lol / puma but if you do want a mk4 rst my mate has a very good shell thats still got the loom fitted so will save a lot of work and £600 worth of alarm full history and still got mot / doors/bonnet/boot/full 90 spec kit/glass/most suspension apart from shocks and springs he wants £400 in diamond white

Well most of these people did not even answer your question, anyways, if you have the chance to get a GT-R then go for it. It is an awesome car and has a lot of performance potential. That is my dream car and I am unable to get one in the states. But in Ireland you're so lucky about getting that car. You don't have to worry about anything, but fixing that thing up would be insane. It is the lightest of the 3 GT-Rs. if you do a little history on it, it is know as "Godzilla" in japan and when it first came out it dominated every race that it was in and had to be put into its own catagory of race in Japan. It is much better than the current skyline and 350z put together. The VQ35DE has nothing on the RB26DETT.
