Default oil pressure and voltage gauge wiring help please?

im fitting a electronic oil pressure gauge into my sierra 2wd cossie unfortunatly no instructions can anyone advise me how to wire it up ive fitted the adaptor to the block but now iam at a loss

also i have a volt meter and also not sure how to go about wiring it up?

any guides would be most appreciated

depends what make the gauges are mate??

if they anything like mine... the oil one is a power supply and ground to gauge and then 2 cable from gauge to transducer on block.. one sends info one is ground...

as for volt one just go for a live thats "live" when the ignition is on.. stereo? cig ligther? other is ground agian... will prob be one extra wire on both that goes to lights... but i never bothered

Mate, Slackbladder is totally right, but i'll go into a bit more detail if i can.

You need a live which is switched from ignition do not use cig lighter though as this is permanent live. The earth as said goes to the sender you have fitted on block. You then need to find a live which is switched on your lights so the gauge has illumination.

I used the clock as this can provide all the above
