Help Required from South West !
Ok here goes, firstly the admission. Its beaten me. My Transit Connect that died earlier this year following a suspected fuel pump failure is now just rotting away in my back garden. The idea to turn it into a Transit Connect RS or ST has stalled and now it is just depressing me....
This is the van as I started to strip it. It was in a shocking state already as it wasn't looked after before I bought it. Sadly corrosion has set in everywhere, and I really do mean everywhere ! My garage flooded this week on the day of the floods and now I have reached the stage where I just want to scrap it.....
So here is the request, would anyone who knows what they are doing give me a hand to get the engine and gear box out and onto a bench ? I need a little motivation and this will spur me on....
I will happily supply beer and food all day and long and either offer cash payment or an exchange of skills....
I am a plasterer and tiler by trade so if anyone needs a little work doing in exchange please say....
Be warned everything is very corroded on this van...

Chaz its fighting me the whole way at the minute. You would be amazed how much I have had to take the angle grinder too already ! I will persevere ! Chris

Hi chip, I have met you a few times, a few years ago now tho. I knew rob when he had his turbo astra gsi. We came and did a gearbox in the old warehouse on a little tims astra (like I said a few years ago lol)
I would love to make coombe, but I think it will be pushing it time wise, I only really get to work on it at weekends.

Too many posts.. I need a life!!
A few of us go for a pizza every Sunday evening in Weston although won't be there this week due to central day.
