Engine now available again as havn't heard from the first person who wanted it for 2 days now!!!



I bought this engine last year for £300. It had done less than 20,000 miles since being fully rebuilt with brand new 0.5 oversize Mahle pisons, all new bearings etc. The head had also been rebuilt and it came to me seperated so that i could see the condition of the bores/pistons. The bores still had the honing marks and the piston tops were nice and shiny with 0.5 clearly visable.

The block also has the CPS hole so that it cn run EFI no problem.

I put the engine back together with the following brand new parts.

Gen Ford Headgasket
Headbolts
water pump
Gates timing belt
Gen Ford Crank pulley and washer
Gen Ford Manifold stud & nut kit
New core plugs
Top end gasket kit
Temp sender etc
Gen Ford Oil cap

Engine was fully detailed, even down to painting the crank pulley the correct blue(sad i know)

The engine was run with gen Ford motorcraft plugs and mobil 1 15-50 oil and set up by Jamsport. Its the best turbo engine ive ever had, no rumbles, no top end noise, no smoke etc. Jamie at Jamsport even commented on how good the engine was. Always allowed to warm up before bringing the turbo in and always allowed to cool down afterwards. It did less than 5000 miles so has still done less than 25,000 mile. The car ran standard boost in my ownership.

All im after is my original investment, £300. You will not find a better standard engine, simple as that. The pics are of when i first built it up,so after 5000 mile of use it will need a wipe down and a bit of fresh detailing.

Engine comes with Inlet and throttle body, manifold studs/nuts etc, but has no dizzy or the powder coated alt brackets/crossover pipe.
