I bet it will still be rammed, plenty of other clubs won't worry about the price hike I wouldn't have thought. Loads of ST/Zetec-S/RS clubs around for the new models and I suspect that's where the real money is now.

The bigger, all-makes shows seem to do ok too. Plenty of people with a lot of disposable income around. The amount of money a lot of the younger lads I know spend on cars is frightening to be honest.

have no doubt it will be busy as thats all they want = bums on seats and the real enthusiasts are pushed out bit like when the premiership started and money flooded into the game forcing the die hard fan to watch it on the tv, in our case will just force us to attend more regional shows and do something out of their control

Our local group have mostly opted for smaller local classic shows next year with just a couple of ford/rs shows next year I wonder how many more will follow

Just heard about this price hike now, its an expensive weekend for me as it is, I live far away so I stay in a cheap hotel (Premmier inn normally), can only just afford the weekend at it is, and with more and more fiesta and focus ST's ever year it looks more like a super market car park every year, may be time for me to call it a day with ford fair, already heard of a few big clubs (that have 100-120 cars on their stand) saying they will avoid the show.

Passionford has one of the best stands at the show with a great variety of cars on it so it'll be a shame in a way not having a stand but I agree with why you wont have one, looks like 2017 will be a year to avoid.

no matter how we feel as ford enthusiasts the numbers will still make the show busy allbeit prob more in the way of focus, fiestas but at least its a ford, kelsey did themself no favors by not actually stating why the huge stump up in price and what it was for and if changes were being made to justify it what they would be for , lets hope things are made more clear so all can make a educated decision on facts

Its utter bollocks, its catch 22 for zsoc, we cant afford to not be at the show, but now with our weekend arrangments means some members (we have members come from Scotland, Northumberland even the channel islands) cant afford to be at the show
