best place to ask is on their club website tbh, normally it always clashes with other shows down south in mid july

There is a new Show at Donington called Car Festival, similar to Evans Carfest with track action, music, club stands and trade area over 2 days with camping

End of July

And that's because every year it's just got worse...
Less trade stands, and the few that are there are unable to secure them down...

Prices to show keep increasing, and without the people that are willing to put their car on stand...
You have no show...

Donnington has never been the same since all its changes, and the show location being on the outside...
Then from a visitors point of view, there's always been issues with parts going missing while the cars on the car park...

So what do YOU suggest to make the show a better day for everyone?

Bit late in the day to fix this event, its run by a club who only care about money and there may be new faces on the committee but still same rotten eggs pulling the strings, people now vote with their feet

I would like to see the proof this lol

National Day has been getting better over the last 3 years and hopefully will continue to do so in the future and we are trying different ideas to benefit members all the time .,

Obviously with a club that is the size it is it costs money to run but if you went to the agm the weekend you would of seen how the finances have been handled . Saying the RSOC just cares about money is just rubbish as if there was no members then there will no club so the members do come first lol

Regards Jay

I put my money where my mouth is and I have always been around the club and like you lot had my thoughts on how the actual club was being run and Lee this was some time ago and I understand over time people have had bad experiences with the club but the club has moved on to a better place and I think people like yourself should give it a go or at least reserve judgement until you see clear facts either way to how the club is doing

I would like to see a pf stand at ND this year hey I will even organise it if people want to go and Steve isnt up for doing it

Regards Jay

Little bit of Fact and Fiction Lee ???

If you forget politics and just judge the Show on its own then Jay is correct, it has got better over the last few years but that depends on how each individual perceives it.

I enjoy National Day as I do the track and its Local but I can also understand your point and I did vote with my feet and won't be a Member again but I will still support all the good people who put shows on
