Default Trax trackday questions

Hi Iv booked on for trax but Iv never been on silverstone circuit so have some questions if you can help please.

What the setup for parking before sessions? Are you allowed in paddock all day or have to return to public parking between sessions?

Is the paddock area open to public cos I got no second vehicle to keep spare wheels and tools so they will be left wherever I park unfortunately. Not happy to do this but have no other option.

Thanks

Get yourself on a club stand somewhere so you are in the paddock is what everyone I know tends to do for trax.

That an option for you?

I don't know of any club stands to join unfortunately but as I'm going with my brother and he has a civic we would end up at different areas and he doesn't like letting go of my hand lol

as chip mentioned without being on a club stand you have to leave your stuff out in the open for all to help themselves too, just call yourself passionford wales or something as I have no issues with that and then ring the booking office telling them what your plans are

as above though just me and my brother going so it would be the crapest stand ever lol.

i went to trax about 11 yrs ago just to spectate so got a vague memory of it but where we parked was a fair bit from the track. would it be like this for me this time or would i be allowed more infield near the track? its gona be crap if i have to go back out to main car parks between sessions. il just have to take a big chain and lock the wheels up to something.

thanks for the help everyone, if you have any more tips please let me know.

Think they put you on the gravel, opposite side of the track to where you enter it when you do your track time. On the Wellington straight, not ideal really so might be better to take up Steve on his offer.

I might be going Steve but not 100% yet. If I do, I could keep an eye on your stuff, if that helps.

really appreciate your offer adam. i wont expect you to do it though as it would be boring and wasting your show time lol. does anyone know if track users can get in before the public. stand cars can go in from 6am but public 9am. doesnt say about track users and i like to be in very early and settled for track days.hate rushing wheel changes etc before a session.

iv tried to see if garages can be hired but website doesnt show anything. im going to phone them tomorow and see what i can sort out.

thanks

if you have a stand you park inside the circuit and then make your way to the pit lane side of things when your time is due

if you DON'T have a stand then it all depends on what the marshalls/security/bloke on the gate with a hi-vis jacket make up on the day

don't forget that all they are looking for is that you've paid for a ticket and they've got their money to let you into the place for starters, once you overcome that hurdle you can blag your way onto anyones stand who has the space to accommodate you

Be careful is a good bit of advice as the driving standard at Trax is pretty poor. Did a session years ago, won't do it again
