Some of the info which is going in the mag:
Like all performance driving venues, there are limits on how loud your car can be. If you drive a modern cat equipped car, it’s highly likely that your car will be fine. If your car has had the engine or the exhaust modified then there may be a noise issue.
Strict noise limits of 101dB static and 87dB ‘drive–by’ limits will be in place. Any cars exceeding these limits will NOT be allowed on track. If you’re unsure whether your car will pass, you can arrange to come to Bedford Autodrome in advance and have your car tested – to do this please call 01234 332400. In our experience, cars which have failed the noise limits are Scoobys with loud exhausts and 450+bhp Cosworths running very high boost pressures. If you’ve ever had anyone say “I could hear you from 3 streets away” then you will probably fail. Please read the info/rules section before booking.
