Hi,
There is a Ford Dyno day on the 30th August 2008 at an Essex based Rolling Road facility. I would like to offer you the chance to attend this event.
We boast a 1000BHP 2WD Clayton dynomometer, running on Dynomax PRO 2000 computer acquasition software. The dyno is enclosed in a purpose built sound proof dyno cell, with fresh air cooling, ventilation and extraction systems in place. The dyno cell is well lit and also features a spectating room with additonal monitor, to ensure you dont miss a thing.
We are offering 3 power runs for £30 (RRP £40)
this includes:
full print out including graph, data points and run information.
we log, boost, AFR, bhp, torque and rpm.
also included is a FREE BBQ
Along with your print out you will also receive a DVD with a video of your car on the rolling road.

This event is open to ALL 2 wheel drive FORD cars, classic and modern. We hope to have a vast selection of cars, from classic anglias to 500+bhp cossies.

i did have a nice list going but the topic was removed... 
this event is going to go ahead without fail.
however i am now unsure of the numbers. i will get onto fast ford today and see if they still wish to attend. if they cant make it i will see if they want somebody to take pictures and write down results etc and send them in (we did a similar thing with the 106 and saxo owners clubs, and the write up ended up in this months performance french car magazine)
allowing for let downs i was expecting around 20 cars. ranging from mustangs to cossies.
its a first come first served basis, so dont be late.

no sorry i no longer have the list, one of your friendly moderators deleted the topic
if your coming, please add your names. let your friends know etc (we need to a rough idea of how much food to buy for the BBQ)
i have been in contact with fast ford again, but no reply so i will contact them again today. it does seem that they are no longer interested but i will keep trying.. bit disapointing as they showed genuine interest in the event.
its advertised on a few forums, fiesta owners, rs owners etc, as well as all the flyers myself and the promo girls handed out.
so im hoping for a good turnout and a varied mix of cars.

Looking forward to it, just had my boost turned up so hoping for an inpressive figure.

was a good day out, shame more didnt turn up, was loads of names on the list originally but none there.

Glad u enjoyed yourself's. we try and make out dyno days enjoyable for everyone. Hopefully we explained how our equipment works to you well enough. otherwise it just looks like a bunch of numbers whizzing round.
