Big thank you to Raj from AUTOFLOCK http://www.autoflock.co.uk/

With getting the car ready for this year and to use on the road again my dash needed a little modification. Raj kindly remade the carbon centre panel. Nice and stiff !!!

Yesterday though I was showing a friend how much flex was in the pedal box and whilst the car was on the truck I leaned in and pushed the pedal with my hand.
Due to not pushing perfectly straight the pedal arm bent 45 degrees
I have what has commonly be described as TWIGLET arms - this is not much force....
so once your foot/leg is pushing down it could be a lot worse if hit at the wrong angle.

Now at that point I was like FUCK

So today I started to rip the box out and its going in the bin!!!!
Even the framework had buckled where the cylinders where mounted.

Luca, I'm trying to see this video but the link appears to be broken.

Update time

Car is currently at JKM as having a few issues with fueling still to be diagnosed but possibly the fuel pressure regulator.
While that being looked into I thought I would change the rear lights from the smoked items fitted as below.

I contacted a forum member on Fiestaturbo.com who lives in Germany and he very kindly sourced me some lights
and had them sent over to me in super quick time! Thank you to Mirco for all his help.

Well this is the question!
It would appear so, although the tank did have too smaller a collector in it.
It struggles to start up now though so points to FPR.

My rear towing eye is RED

No choice I'm afraid - the smoked lights have melted where they are obviously poorly made compared to genuine clusters.

Cheers mate, hopefully it will be out a bit more now once sorted.
Been saving for a house which is almost sorted now, so a little bit of fun is back on the cards

Not a bad idea that with the stickers, I'll have a think over that

Once my spare box is back with me I might head back to POD and fit the drag slicks.

Yes in answer to your question 11.74 is my quickest at Pod on legal treads.

On my last visit to Pod I managed a 12.0@ 134mph then my box ripped in half later in the day, so I didn't get to try with the slicks :cry

If someone beats the time I might get back into it again but for now I got what I wanted and enjoy track days far far more!

Reverse light is not needed for the MOT.

I took my old FRST to an MOT with euro RS lights fitted and it failed due to the fog light being white and not red.

So you need to switch back to standard lights for the MOT. Maybe you can fit a red bulb or spray tint the reverse lens on the euro lights red.

Get some red light tint and get the clear bit painted red with a few coats of clear coat on...
Red bulb will pass if you decided to leave them...

Had a few hours on the car today, so nice easy job first.... fit the lights.

Then on the inside i sorted out my cock-up on the dash panel.
Since the car has only been used on track I didn't fit the LED warning lights.

Now the car will be used on the road this year I bodged the panel, looked so bad Raj from AUTOFLOCK kindly sent me another one to fit properly.

OLD ONE - with the sticker temporarily stuck with tape to save the sticky back for its final fit.
