Christian,

That looks fooking superb mate. Really like the inlet, I've see nanother couple of cars use that idea, I think it was the Danes on this board? Anyway, what's that finish on the rocker and inlet? Looks much like Dave's crackle finish, looks amazing, really really nice.

As people say, a credit to you, one of the best and ultimate RST's

CheeRS for your words guys.

Regarding the Inlet. It had to be fairly heavily altered. The Inlet Pipework normally runs behind the Brake Master cylinder. I didnt want it like that so had to cut the entire Mounting flange off, reshape it and weld a Brand New flange on. The inside then had to be ported to follow the shape of the larger bore of the Cossie Throttle Body. This all looks very good, I am very pleased with it, it truly looks like it was meant to be there. I also had to fabricate mounting brackets for the Fuel Rail, which also meant that the lugs on the Rail had to be altered, because they fell in the wrong place. If I had known how much work it would be, I wouldn't have taken it on!!

I have also added an Auxillary port for something, but can't say what!!

Have now started the car. Had some complications along the way.

The most annoying of which is the spangly Alloy Intake Pipe that Pro Alloy are making me (which should arrive on Monday) isn't going to fit! The Intercooler Outlet is so close to the Radiator Top Hose that I am going to have to make some changes including altering that pipe! I hate having to mess with stuff like that because it will be hard to make it look as good as it did when it was made.

I have also had to implement a temporary fix to fit the Air Filter as that has had to be moved, again the Top Intercooler Outlet is in the way! This may be because we aren't using the standard Inlet Hose.

For now we have made an Inlet Pipe using a section of exhaust that we had. It actually looks better than I expected it to look (Thanks Chris!!).

Next step is to get it MOT'd, Tax'd and Insured, then get out and do enough mapping to allow me to put some mileage onto the engine. Its going to be a relief to drive it, as I haven't driven yet this year!

Fair play to you, that looks like ALOT of planning and altering of pipe work to get it all to fit, but its going to look the nuts when done

They are 330mm AP 8-Groove Rotors, on Custom Bells. They aren't cheap!

CheeRS for your comments everyone.

We have now completed some early mapping and have racked up about 60 miles of the Running in. I hope to bump this up fairly quickly so that we can see some boost. I really miss it.

I also have some other bits to fit and will take some photo's when I get onto that.

Sweet looking engine...I bet it will shift once properly run in. How much are you hoping it revs up to?

Its not really been built for big RPM's. I may rev it to 7000 or 7200 if there is still power up there.

I'm surprised by how lively it feels at 6psi. (that might be because I haven't driven it for a while!!)

Love the black crackle finish and the use of the 3i inlet. It'd be interesting to see a 1.8 CVH rocker cover or RS1600i cover done in black crackle. (you could machine the tops of the fins on the RS cover so they stood out like the Ford logo on the inlet.) Really nice work though

Just about cracked the 700 Mile mark today (after a little excursion to the M25 and back). I think we will map it for a Bar of boost in the next day or two.

LOL. Good idea!

We got to Brentwood today then hit loads of traffic so had to head back up the A12. We were going to have that game of Knock-and-Run.

Just to update, the car is now mapped for 25psi and 7000rpm.

All I can say is FOOOOOOOOK. It certainly doesn't run out of puff between 6000-7000rpm.

We tried to run more boost, but it got a little bit glitchy, I think it may be blowing the spark out. I will fit some new plugs and sort a few odds and ends out before I worry about any more boost. Its just fine at the moment!!

Thanks everyone for your comments!
