That's on a proper engine Dyno Paul it may come In sooner
I've found one on race fuel on a Dyno dynamics now though, I have spent hours searching this forum last few days lol

That cage was a absolute bastard lol but great to do it at the same time to help Rod as we had several discussions about safety on these runs let alone on the road . What some people did seem to get it wasnt just about the top speed record it was the engineering involved that got him excited as well as so doing the cage he was constantly bringing ideas to it as he said he still wanted to use the car regularly with ease .

I see the roof has sagged as normal lol well we did remove the lining by removing the rear window to weld the cage so just incase you thinking of repairing that Karl lol

It looks perfect from what I've seen mate I can get all my family in it
The roof lining is being sorted before I get the car, I don't have the patience left for things like that when I've finished work I would end up just snapping it in half trying to get it out

Can get a 4.09 to give an approximate top speed of 192 mph which will be alot more suitable for point to point and drag racing, considering buying one so I have both options available to me
those speed assume 8500 rpm and a decent size tyre on the rear

Simply performance?

Good luck with it whatever you choose to use it for. I am sure it will do what it was intended for.

I'm glad everything has been coated black as I don't miss the days of polished alloy and chrome everywhere needing constant polishing lol

I used to be obsessed with top speed, most I ever did was 186 iirc, but nowadays I'm more interested in acceleration and 30-130 mph performance, so will likely be getting a lower ratio diff that is if it can get the power down, I'm looking forward to having a play how rod had it first though

These modern autos are effortless I reckon the rs6 might just nudge a high 10 and the gtr should be 9s on ethanol, will be a challenge in the saph that's for sure

Management will come in the next few months, gotta get an intercooler sorted then I’m gonna try and throw it together to use for the year (fingers crossed)
I wanted to strip the shell and tidy the whole car properly but I don’t have a decent garage at the mo so any serious work will have to wait till next winter now, I just wanna drive it!!

that's something that puts me off running the gtr full bore launch on a drag surface, svm said my transmission is on its limit road use and could blow drag racing, but having said that it will do 10s without a launch

I tried to organise a pf day years ago, I'd got the dates and cost of the track for the day but when it came to the crunch nobody would put any money down so I scrapped the idea !

I think it was £5k for the day or around that from memory, so 50 people £100 each
I was willing to put a grand in extra aswell which would of bought it down to 40 people
