Im chipping away at this nicely, the clutch master is all fitted, The mounts are done, Ive had to modify the box section below the steering rack to allow the gear cables to follow their natural route & get the grommet at the right angle. bulkhead has been stitch welded & currently cleaning up the strut area & front chassis legs ready for stitch welding tomorrow. I found some rust under the battery tray, so removed all that ready for plating. Fingers crossed i should be prepping for bay paint within the next 2 weeks. More pics to follow soon.

The time has come to wire the honda into the ford.. I wasnt really sure how i wanted to do the electrics but decided to completely remove all the orion loom & make the whole k20 civic type r loom fit.. so after hours of de-picking & removing all the un wanted wires i have now got a simplified loom to run everything required..

Progress is abit slow atm as im manic at work. On a plus note, I had Racing Ciruits make me up a custom wiring loom, which is very impressive. He made me a custom loom & wired the plug for the dash cluster right into the ecu. Ive chopped the orion & honda cluster up & will bond them together. It should look quite stock once finished...
If anybody is looking to have any wiring looms done id recommend Racing Ciruits.. He has been very helpful (even tho im all the way down in cornwall)

After removing the honda engine. Ive gone back to a ford engine, this will be fitted until i build up a st170/zetec turbo engine.
Heaters wont be going back in, so plated over the hole

Honda K20 gone. Back to ford zetec turbo!
So, i got the grinder out again and chopped out the honda k20 mounts i made up last year, and put the k20 conversion on ebay. Ive decided to keep things ford and simple. Chosen engine is the "done to death blacktop zetec". With plans to turbo... rather than going down the usual way with the zetec/cvh mount i cut into the inner wing and made a mounting bracket there, before i welded anything in, i did check for clearance on full lock and the suspension in the maximum travel and clears fine.
No heaters in this, so matrix and heater box gone and plated.
Hydraulic clutch conversion with reinforced plate.
