I've got a bit done, rear end underneath is all in stonechip, (sandblasted it) the rest of the floor is nearly cleaned off. Been busy with little one and work set up,ready for the onslaught. Well my turn to bob over, but welcome anytime.
Found that standard head unit other week, remind me when you see me it's in the steel cabinet, chuck it in your spares pile as it's mint.

That’s not so good. But keep focused fix it and get it back. And as I’ve said before if it was easy we would all be doing it.

sorry to hear that mat, was hoping you'd be out driving it.

This car is still the one making me want to get another escort. Hoping to import a LHD escort and sapphire in the near future. Stick with it, it will be worth it in the end.

btw you can turn off infinate scroll in the settings, I've done mine as its rubbish.

Fantastic Build!
Any dyno plots to post?

I am not sure how the plug could have popped out on its own? Pressure must be making it's way into the crankcase - and not out - breather not breathing.
There should be a vent to atmosphere somewhere. I am sure you will get it sorted!!

Cheers

thanks and no I've no plots .. it had just pulled 253bhp at 1 bar ..and then on another pull the bung let go ..I've got a crank case breather and nothing could have been blocked because it's all new everything ..we can only think it's harmonics and it's worked it's way out as its not popped any other seals in the head .

its weird how many engines leave a manufacturers factory and these things don’t happen, I get these are modded and old engines that we use but so many have issues. You could never guess what is going to fail.

on the old a series I know they used to tap the blocks to hold seals in place with bolt heads over lapping.

i guess if you rev limit is higher then harmonica play a bigger part?

i hope its an easy fix and no damage was done. You can get companies to test the oil, cant you?
