Fuel pump ,bracket , lines and uprated loom all fitted today then I started cleaning up the rear cosworth 2wd calipers which I think have come up well tbh .

bolted all the bits on ready for the drop Saturday / Sunday , brake lines are all made , painted and ready to fit and bleed up the new brake bias set up.
my super pro bushes land Saturday ..so first few hours ill get all the running gear on and get it rolling ..then ill wheel it out side and drop the engine in , prime and start then do some data logging and see if its safe to run in / drive .

True words mate ..hooked the car up to the laptop last night so a friend in Lancashire could read the ECU and have a play ..but the car couldn't get ignition ..anyhow after a play today it turns out it was wired via the alternator..so I've re done it all and wired straight to battery as they should be ..so tonight its round 2 of playing with the data log and map via the internet 100 miles apart from each other .
I'll keep you all posted .. hopefully it will work.
Bit of an update .. Didn't want to say or go this route but .. when the car came back from Steve Simpson of simtek I was happy to pay the bill which I'd asked for the bill in full.. I got the invoice of Ł2.400.. which I paid in full and said I would collect the car the following Saturday from Area52.. the following Saturday I get to Area52 only to be hit with another Ł460 bill ..which i say I've paid in full , they told me that Steve Simpson should have told me about thier bill but he failed too.. anyhow I stump up the 460 and take car away ..few days later i realise I haven't the comms cable for the ECU which I'd paid 120 for which was included in the first bill.. so after 3 or 4 messages and apologies I get the cable ..Steve always said that because I'd paid for the mapping in full that once the engine was fixed that he would finish off the map if I paid 50 to hire the rollers again at Area52.. I said it was ok because I wanted MSD to map it in the future when i put TC and boost by gear ..anyhow other night we get into the ECU.. and hes locked the file out ..so I kindly sent him a message to see if he would kindly unlock it so I can add the add ons and have the map finished at MSD like I'd said.. now Steve thinks it's cool not only to stick you ECU on the back on the bulkhead with some crap 3M tape that went dry and my ECU hit the floor ..but he thinks he can ignore you and hide from his problems.. the blokes a cowboy and a RIP off ..
That guy sounds like a complete bodge job, I hope you get it sorted mate. That top down shot of the car is ace, helping me keep the faith that I will get another escort soon. Got most of the outside bits now, just need a bonnet and some recaros. Then start hunting for a LHD shell

A few niggles to square away .. no indicators or hazard lights and I've a oil weep from the oil pressure switch to sort and a new alternator as I'm only getting 12v ..then its MOT time.
