Did you leave all these bits in place ?

Was thinking about getting mine aqua blasted with glass beads, but would need to strip it completely

yes just used brake cleaner/de-greaser/panel wipe ect to clean it before removing the sticker a re-locating it to face the front of the car, then paint it and re-zinc the fittings and bolts.

My Sierra is 2WD, and came with this rusty bias valve.

I'm switching to a 4x4 ABS system and plan on using the valve that is on the 4x4 ABS block.

They look similar in construction, so after a good dip in citric acid, this one is going to get stripped to find out what's going on inside it.

Does anyone know what goes on inside one of these ?

if you use the valve in the abs block itself youll have to alter the fitting on the brake line also.
you can see why here,3dr one on the right

Thanks,

My plan is to use the whole 4x4 ABS system apart from the ECU.

That way I avoid having the valve under the car at all.

Time will tell if it's a cunning plan or complete bollox
