Tidy!!
That looks really tidy that. Always loved pick ups
Cooooool as foook. Get it sitting on its ass and a nice set of wheels.
yeah definately needs lowering but it looks like a good base
Rear tubs are usually fooked one way or the other, yours looks great and hard to find.
I'd probably keep it as it is or go for 24v cossie and uprated running gear. |
I saw this on ebay, looks like you got a bargain!
Very nice, would love to have one, but these things are hard to find.
Have fun with it. :) |
Picked her up on Saturday, already ordered lots of bits to get her right and got the front end looking propa!!:top:

Yeah, if I can get around 100bhp that will do for now, its only going to pull my trials bike about so don't need too much atm
Looks very tidy! A spot of lowering and the lattices will totally transform it would love one of these to ride around in as a daily
The back wheels will look lost in the arches. Are you using a capri rear axle??
No Glenn, I will be using wheel adaptors on the rear so it will have an extra 20mm.
Hopefully some work will take place this weekend |
Also got capri multi leaf springs which I am taking a leaf out of and 2 inch lowering blocks
Quite a bit been going on with this over the last couple of weeks, I added the capri multi-leaf springs, changed all rear bushes to poly and added the lowering blocks although ended up taking these out as it was just too low to carry anything.
Also added rear wheel adapters and cossie rims - its coming along now Came across a cheap rebuilt 1.8td which I am now in the process of fitting, also new clutch and spigot bearing, crank seal, oil filter & glow plugs replaced the fuel filter housing as it was leaking Hopefully will look at upping the boost and fueling a bit once I am back up and running also painted the bed in black as it was very scruffy https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/passion...2d102a5d33.jpg https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/passion...c95054f2b1.jpg https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/passion...e7d0dd43e7.jpg https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/passion...9b22971108.jpg |
That looks awesome lowered on the lattice wheels mate
