Car being collected today and moved to a new location for my man to build the engine bay back up with all the nice goodies, fit new Ecu and loom, exhaust, front inner arch guards, mudflaps etc.

The end of the month James, got a lot of work to get through, guages to fit aswell, lots of other time consuming jobs,new beam and rear ARB bushes, all new brake calipers,dics,pads etc, ARB links, steering bearing, poly diff mount bushes, new Radiator, new ecu and loom,the list goes on and on, you know how it is James, we will see I guess.

Yes an aweful lot to get through for sure. P8 ecu, new P8 loom, with w/spark and closed loop etc.
Gotta fit the turbo, manifolds, injectors,cambelt fit all boost and ancillary hoses plus all tanks etc, loads to be getting on with for sure James.
Updates and pics will be coming thick and fast over the next few weeks.

Just take your time with it and if that means it's a couple of months later Lee, than so it is.

You gonna keep this wheels, or you have a spare set bigger wheels?

Keeping the standard wheels at the moment, not sure if I may go to 17's next year, drives so nice on 15s though.

Started cleaning a little, original wiring loom now also removed.











A few small parts that arrived today courtesy of Ford.Oil filters and sump washers x3, rear ARB links, fuel filter washers, driveshaft nuts and number plate holders.

Inlet with spacer, plenum and t/body all fitted.

That looks great.

Are the engine mounts fitted the right way with both rubbers facing down, as on mine one rubber faces down and the other faces up unless mine are wrong?

On 2wd cars the rubber mounts have a peg which locates on the alloy arm.

And those are the correct way round.

I see that your half moon seals have sealant all the way around, I thought that you only put the sealant on the ends?

Fan wiring all renewed thankfully.





Drivers lower dash, alarm man has made a bit of a mess, so will be all tidied up. Even found a boost guage sitting in there.

Steering coupling removed, cleaned and painted up.



New t peice fitted up ready for the oil pressure guage.



Rad fans all cleaned up and finished now, fitted new stainless brackets which have now been painted up satin black,new stainless bolts, fan switch also fitted and all bolted up to my new airtec radiator.

Starting to take some shape now. new turbo damper and new plug leads fitted cam cover side,alternator with new drop bracket, auxillary belts, map sensor and bracket, new heater hoses,throttle body etc all fitted up.

New guages all fitted up with new RS guage plate.New P8 loom being routed in,Airbox fitted,idle speed control valve, injector rail,throttle bracket etc fitted in place.
