Was good to see you aswel, focus is good, currently decided to remove unused wiring loom which is proving to be a pain in the butt , dont mind though as it's nice to get out of the house. I have in the garage brand new internals from a motorcraft alternator if you want it? i sent off the casing when i had the 3 door for chroming and it got lost in the post

Wahay!! I've lost my Virginity!!
Looking awesome Lee, glad the car is finally having some decent time and money spent on it - it is certainly a good car to do it too!
When are you hoping to have it all back together?

Hi Lee, still building the annexe for my parents, almost finished now at long last. Work starting on the main house at the end of the month.
No time for cars again this year, I hope to start the resto on the Cortina next year.
No comment on your hoses, I might offend you lol

Lee, well I had an incident with mine lol. Somehow or other during putting everything back together an M6 washer got in behind the cambelt cover and made the cambelt jump a tooth, which bent 9 valves. It would have just bent 8, but one inlet valve head snapped, rattled round a bit and ended up hitting an exhaust valve and bending it, then it embeded itself in the head.
So had to do alot of work to the head, 3 valve seats, ally welding and machining it all back, skim and pressure test and finally 16 new valves.
Luckily, it hardly touched the bottom end which I could hardly believe. It is now all up and running, just a few bits of trim and a couple annoying wiring faults to cure.
I will be updating my resto project post with pictures etc soon, so look out for that.
