Thanks.I hope it works, I have a plan to co ordinate the engine bay, hopefully I will pull it off. If I don't like it I will have to change the colour scheme...cry,cry.
Yes my sig is far to big, I will try and resize it when I get a chance.

The bay is very solid, just a build up of the usual dust/dirt/grease etc over time,it is very good in there, so that is a good start anyway.
I also think it has 4wd pistons in it as it's so quiet on cold start up, it's sounds like a dream.Gonna check the pistons type, having a look with a bore scope soon just to confirm this.

Thanks. Lee.

Give the front arch liners a bit of a clean up, they look ok, will probably give them another going over until I am happy with them.

Thanks. Lee.

Turbo front housing off and a bit of fettling as somebody had cut off the 4wd actuator bracket, well some shape, it's now been rounded off nicely.

Front arches, thought I would give them a clean up today as the plastic arch liners are already removed, lots of waxoyl in there, cleaned some off but left some of it in place.Pics before cleaning.

Exhaust is off so thought I would give it a go, first off used Mr Muscle oven cleaner, sprayed it on and left it on for 30 mins.

More pics shortly.

What's the solution called Lee, looks a lot easier than blasting everything, although I wish I'd know of it before I'd spent 3 days at the blast cabinet last week!!!
