No not up that far when you turned into Coombe main entrance turn right and on the field part not to far from the toilet building, we were just before you came
to the tarmac where the concourse area was.

Thanks. Lee.

Reassembled the diff today, new cover bolts etc.Fitted the new diff mount and new oil and away to go.

Pic of the inside with cover off, looks tidy since been in the parts cleaner.

Thanks. Lee.

Nice that diff mount WILL increase noise into the cabin. But will aid handling.

I done the underside on the black saff and also tuned it. Stills looks good after 7 years..

Do they make that much difference?
as the noise mine makes is unbareable so it's coming off and a standard 1 is going in at least to try it,if the noise disappears then the poly mount will not be going back on as it's very harsh, makes the diff clunky and whiney.
Keep the pics coming lee!

Great work lee getting better all the time hopefully u will keep this one!
The diff mount u have is a track one where they have a nylon bush not a poly so are much harsher as no give compared to poly, can get a poly bush to replace the nylons for about Ł15 if needed.

Where from as I think mine is identical and it's very harsh/noisy.
Can't remember my last saph being as bad as this 1 for noise with a similar mount.

Cheers Leigh.I am confused now with regards to the diff mount. Are you referring to mine or 155lee's? 3 people named Lee having a conversation....caos...lol.

Thanks. Lee.

Both of us I think,I don't have any pics of my mount on my thread so I am assuming lee 2 is referring to you're mount, mine is the same as yours so if yours is a nylon bush I'm guessing mine is too.
If it is nylon it makes driving my car quite tiring as the noise, clunking and vibration is terrible.
Would sound great in a track car but It annoys me every time I back if and it clunks through the floor.
Trying a standard mount on,see how I get on with that.
Couldn't find new repro mounts on rs breakers page they are remaking some nice parts.

Matt lewis does them, he did have some on ebay. Iv had my nylon one off this week and its chipped the corner off, will be replacing with a poly one, very harsh if u use the car regular on the road.

This is confusing! yours looks to be the same as mine with the black nylon bush, assumed you got it from msd? their good but no movement in them so can be harsh.

Yes MSD mount. I wanted a poly mount from Matt Lewis but he didn't have the road purple version only the black track version, I waited a few weeks bit still not in stock. Bugger I'm gonna have to get another one now.Leigh are the GGR billet ones poly or nylon, I can't remember now.

Thanks. Lee.

The standard mount Lee, maybe on MT Motorsport website as I was on both the same day, give that a try, think it was about Ł75.
Just checked yes MT Motorsport, it's on his website for Ł75.

Thanks. Lee.

I wonder if you can just change the actual nylon bush for poly bush rather than buying the whole mount?

Thanks. Lee.

Picked up a few parts recently.

New steering column bearing.

2 set of plugs, 2 oil filters and an 82 deg. thermostat and seal.Picked them up yesterday at Ford Fair courtesy of Matt Lewis.

Got myself an airbox lid and cold air feed pipe, I just need a good airbox base now with all the clips to attatch the lid to it.I also had a 2wd throttle cable bracket ready for blasting and zinc coating.

Some new old stock rear lights and indicators.

Some more parts arrived this week.

Going to powdercoat the swirl pot,so not bothered on condition,I have the larger style swirl pot fitted to my car which I'm not keen on so that will be going for sale.
Got myself a stunning 2nd hand set of ambers and some new Powerflex exhaust mounts plus the dizzy blanking cover for wasted spark/distributorless ignition.
