A few more small jobs done today.
Replaced all 4 door pin switches, fitted new side repeaters and bulbs, fitted new Ford wiper blades with spoiler, fitted new original supplying dealer number plates and rear screen decal. Finally replaced the drivers front door window regulator as it was a bit noisy, all good now, nice and quiet the replacement is.

Thanks. Lee.

A few more small jobs completed today.

Got a pair of front Pioneer door speakers as the Kenwoods were hammered, the cone had all broken up on them.

Here's the old Kenwood.

Fitted some new light blue badges.

Purchased these goodies this week.Poly rear diff mount and some oils to do the fluids for engine, gearbox and diff.

Gave the engine bay a bit of a clean up before Coombe last weekend,it didn't look to bad but a long way from what I want it to look like.Engine bay makeover will be started after National Day.

Alright Steve, beleive it or not they are all genuine Ford boost hoses, throttle body to intercooler I think is a 909 part whilst the other 2 are the original hoses. When the underbonnet resto gets started after national day, hoses is one of the first things on my shopping list. I also hate the blue headertank to swirl pot hose, bit of a mix and match as you said..lol.

CheeRS Glenn, yes the diff mount is a must, I've replaced this on just about every cossie I've owned.

Lots to do yet James,as said engine bay resto after national day, ambers going in,new splitter and bumper moulding, bit of paint work etc etc.
I just need to be patient as you know me, I want it all done yesterday. Probably wait until next year then to do some powdercoating underside parts,
new bushes, suspension parts, brakes etc.No rush really is there and this is what I need to realise.I have got to try and enjoy it more this time around and appreciate the car more than I have with my previous cossies.

Thanks. Lee.

The car is looking great.
After seeing you're splitter I decided I had to have 1 so got a guy I know to check ford Europe finis system, only 2 left, both in the uk,1 was bent in half and I managed to get the other 1.
Was happy to find it but never thought I'd ever get 1 till me seen you're pic.
I got the complete hose set from roose,o.e style £406 which I thought was really good and 1 of them was a non standard hose as I have a 500 airbox lid.
Keep the pics coming!

Glad I prompted you to get the splitter. Yes gonna get my hoses from Roose, probably o/e style aswell with no markings on them. I am toying with getting white hoses as a 2nd choice. Will have to go white with the cam cover then, really wanted to stay with the red, gonna send it to Tremona as they have the proper paint code from Cosworth to refurb and get it spot on as per original.I will have to decide in the next few weeks I guess.

I was only thinking of the boost hoses in white and matching cam cover, all other hoses would have to be be o/e black.Yes I spoke to Richard a few weeks back about the cam cover, nice fella. I will be sending mine there for sure.I had an engine bay and battery decal kit off them a few weeks ago.
Have you got any pics of your cam cover since returned from Tremona?

Thanks. Lee.

Noticed my brake fluid was looking a bit full in the resovoir, so decided to extract some as didn't want it to overflow and destroy everything in it's path. This is what I found the fluid was ginger, it's well dirty.

Got some new Dot 5.1 fluid and some new brake hoses.

The alt to battery cable is a great mod as the original gets a bit warm and degrades after years.

Car is looking good shame i missed it at coombe. Where abouts was you parked?

Yes James was featured in Fast Ford a few months ago, this was mentioned in his article.I thought yes I'll go for that as never heard it mentioned by anyone
as far I know.
I saw your car at Coombe, I was talking to Big Steve parked next to you, you were nowhere to be seen at that point. I was on the West Wales stand.
