well done a bit more on the car
bending front hoop to centre hoop bar above door

also this will be connected to the rear of the new chassis as to give support to the rear of the shell

Where do you get your energy? Can never understand how some spend 8-12 hours a day working on other peoples cars and then home to spend god knows how-many hours working on your own.

No matter how many times I read this thread I'm stunned. Cortina II's are now up to 50 years old and yet new and amazing creations like this still spring up each year.

cheers for that, i just like a challenge it keeps me occupied its better to spend hours in the garage than waste them sat in front of a tv
and at lunch time instead of sitting down i can get an hour in on the chassis at work so its a win win situation

i have always liked the lotus cortina's so i thought id make a replica with a bit of difference

Right had a good day on car
got cage all back in position level and central

tried some tyres under the back these are 285/18s
may see if can get 335/18 under as i will need to try and put the power down
