well done a bit more on the car
bending front hoop to centre hoop bar above door
front and centre hoops in place with dash panel cut and fitted around cage
bars all tacked in place ready to be removed and welded up
back out off the shell and roof cross being made and notched
welded cage with a bit of colour on it once on chassis there will be rear legs with cross added and a few more sections,
also replaced rear valance and made a mounting bar for bumper as the original bumper mountings were part of the chassis legs
also this will be connected to the rear of the new chassis as to give support to the rear of the shell
valance removed
new valance with support bar will weld supports in place when on chassis
hope to have cage in shell over the next couple of weekends

Where do you get your energy? Can never understand how some spend 8-12 hours a day working on other peoples cars and then home to spend god knows how-many hours working on your own.
No matter how many times I read this thread I'm stunned. Cortina II's are now up to 50 years old and yet new and amazing creations like this still spring up each year.
