I am glad you decided to keep it as I was thinking of where I could keep it, I have a spare garage around the corner from me full of junk and I was thinking dump run and have a crack at this....looks great in that pic above

looking good. Was it expensive to do the coating?
Only tip i'd add is to fit the door rubbers - saves sitting on the metal as that does hurt after a while of working on a car btdt pissing around with my old rs

All what you see there cost me 40 quid. Didn't have the cam pulleys done as I've ordered verniers.
Still need to find an alternator drop bracket so will need to get that done too

After a few weeks of shall I finish it or not I decided to pull my finger out & get a few bits done. Had a good few hours on it today.
Got the front screen & rear quarter glass in
Fitted the door catches, door rubbers, boot rubber & struts.
Also had a play around with a Saff Cossie carpet, think with a little trimming here & there it will fit fine.
Back in the garage for now, hopefully get some more done during the week

Made some good progress today.
Managed to get the passenger door fitted, loom is now in, dash is in too.... Then had a mock up of the seats & centre console. Needs some cut & shut work but nothing major.
Also managed to clean & paint the servo, get it fitted along with the peddal box & a few other bits.
Will hopefully get the doors built up next & make a start on removing the power steering set up.
JP.
