Nearly done with Land Rover, got real pissed off with the gearbox from i structions not working so ripped it out and went for direct drive to diffs from XL motors. It works well lol

Also some mods already, still incorperating the working brakes too.

Wider track and bigger tyres also bigger arches

And made the roof! Lots more idea’s to come..

Before I even start to build the new one I know some mods I want to do to it.

Wheels and tyres, I oainted them red front wheels and white rear, also some perfect tyres I found for dune buggy and they arrived and fit great.

Not touched the falcon in nearly two weeks, the fact that you get a choice of either light gray, dark gray or black bricks bores the hell out of me

In the meantime one of my mates text me yesterday to say he was at rockafeller center in NYC and they had these in store. I'd seen them on fleabay after they was announced at nearly double the price so he said he'd pick up a set for me to avoid the usual seller markup

Only a small set but I enjoyed the films

Hi, Kev I finally got round to doing some pics. I also found a few still in boxes, there is a massive crane still boxed and I think they are over Ł100

I will do some more pics but just pick anyone and I will box it, they all have boxes and instructions

There’s also a big unimog and some other powered off roaders

All are a bit dusty but complete

Had a look on ebay, I think the 1:8 Ferrari’s are worth a few quid. Those and the-cranes and unimogs seem to be Ł200 boxed each.

The pneumatic bulldozer with all the power stuff looks pretty cool too.

Once Kev has picked out his gift one I will ebay the rest unless anyone wants a bargain for the job lot?

Cool, I will get it posted out Kev, could you pm me your address again please as I seem to have deleted some of my inbox.

@visa broke, any money I get from them I will give to my mother in law as she is buying a new car soon, these kits we bought for my father in law when he was ill as he loved passing the time building them and it kept his mind fit.

Thanks mate! If you post up the lego box numbers I will get you prices for then if you want, I can ask my admins on my brick pages as they buy and sell a lot. I know a lot of what you have there is worth lots of money and will make a big chunk of money towards a car for her.

Borrowed our black labs crate to use as a table to carry on with the build. Its been a couple of weeks since I last had a go due to work commitments.

Biggest issue with lego/fake lego is the instructions if you don't pay much attention, I started building one of these, got to the end of it and looked and turns out I needed to build seven of the same part but no mention of that till after i'd done that. Proper annoyed me to the point I nearly packed it away. I ended up building all of them and fitting them.

Left it at this point, will try get some time on it in the next day or so.

Think i'm on page 45/46? out of 153

I wouldn't normally get a current production copy but my son has been going on about the Death Star since he didn't get one at Christmas (didn't know he wanted one). The price of the official kit put me off So ordered a lepin one for his birthday. Hope he is happy with it.
Now got to look forward to putting the 4000 pieces together

we've had a load of minecraft lepin stuff recently for my son and it's been pretty good. Unfortunately some are not direct copies so don't go together as well as lego ones. The quality of the pieces is good though! looked at the death star and millennium falcon but didn't fancy something so big as we've got nowhere to put it once done! I am tempted by some of the trains though as i have an old set and my son has one of the newer cargo ones

I'm still considering the trains, I like the look of some of them. I think after i've finished the falcon next might be some sort of car

Posted what you’d done on Facebook mate and seems your wellknown as a good bloke buy lads on there too!

Finished the Dakar truck too so will get straight to work on your ls Toby.

Also think it looks a bit like Toyota Dakar Ttuck now? I changed all the panels to red/white as I didn’t like the mismatch colours.

No didn’t take to long to make this one as not a massive build but it is very technical and new for me, 4 wheel steer design is good but the ground clearance and strut travel is epic? Hoping I can use some of the design ideas in my moc, great model and loved building it! Sitting pride of place in my chill room, means a lot! Thanks again Toby.
