Mk1 Capri Engine/Gearbox choices
Hi all.
Restoring a Mk1 Capri, a 1600 GT. After much soul searching ive decided to wander off the purist path and fit a different engine/ gearbox configuration. I'm looking for power, grunt, burble with reliability and an element of economy haha. I was thinking of maybe a Ford 3.0 and a six speed RX8 gearbox. Would these bolt together without too much messing? Anyone have any other configuration ideas? Thanks in advance
