Hi guys, i just bought MK2 escort for restauration.i will post few pictures with car and once i will start work, i will update.I`m new member here , i own also Escort Rs Cosworth and i will try to fit also YB cosworth engine for my new MK2

That is either a long and expensive (money and time) project or a load of scrap. Good luck with it and would be a shame to let it go.

Quite an involved project there! Do think a mk2 is always worth saving though so well done there.

there was just few pictures from another escort cosworth restauration project.This will be a Group 4 body shell with N5C cosworth turbo engine.
In few days we start working and i will update with pictures daily

i just bought n5c cosworth turbo engine and t5 gearbox as parts for this shell.looking for a good deal for rear 15`` inner arches, turrete , large tunnel for gearbox , large tunnel for diff, central tunnel and for capri 2.8 rear axle .
Need a rounded grill also and forest arches for wings

TBH for those parts I reckon you need to go to a rally specialist/fabricator for them really, not worth trying to get poor quality parts on a car that going to be hammered!

i just start preparing body shell..so long way till other parts.i posted above some parts from an old project,escort rs cosworth 1992, all parts from pictures i threw to the garbage
i have to finish the shell first welding myself.what mean rally specialists? parts are for sale and i`m engineer i don`t think i need a specialist in rally, anyway i`m rally driver also.let`s see how things go ahead and thank you for follow this project.Soon i will post new pictures .
