Yeah found them the other day, they are an exact copy of the ones i copied. There a pig to fit, even more so for us with the cage around the rear turret. I looked at the job then ordered flo flex top mounts. How did you mark out for the front top mounts mate ? Awkward little job really. Rears looked even worse lol

I literally put the mounts in, guessed where the holes needed to be then drilled a tiny pilot hole and saw how far off I was. Luckily, I got all 4 pretty much bang on.
The rears would be much the same. A right angle chuck on a drill would be needed to do the rears.

Yeah my thoughts exactly as one of the holes is right next to the quarter. Still not sure, might still fit a set lol

Well I'm trying to keep the ball rolling as much as possible now, been finishing off the pipe work for the fuel system this week before i go into work for a 9 hour night shift needless to say it's far more fun down the lockup then being at work. I loose hours down there like theres no tomorrow, yet at work 9 hours seems to drag and take forever lol.
Managed to get my paint man to come and look at the damage where i had chipped the paint fitting the Compbrake strut tops, we sorted that today and also hung the drivers door, the old school guys we're desperate to see if the doors fitted after all the work plus they have been of the shell for around 5 years so its nice to let them meet each other again. The fit is perfect tbh I'm well happy. Passenger door Thursday when we de mask and polish the strutt.
Need to try and find some new door check straps so going to see if Ford still do them at all before i end up painting mine matt black.
Here's a few more pictures of the completed fuel system, thanks for looking
Beach
Got the pipes cable tied up for now to give an idea of the routing etc but quite happy with how it all fits and flows etc it all works quite nicely just need to connect it from the tank to the Holley lift pump.
How it all looks from the back
The start of the internal fuel lines from the bulkhead
Roughly tied together and routed will p clip this all in tomorrow now Love the colour of this hose
How it all looks from inside the car, used some nice m6 csk washers from Pro Bolt to finish it off a little nicer. Pleased with that, much better than plain bzp headed bolts IMO
And finally how she looks with a drivers door on again Such a good fit too.
Thanks for looking

It will come in good time, i've plenty of jobs to keep me going before im worried about an engine in all fairness. It will be going to NMS in the next few weeks to get the ball rolling hopefully.

Well i managed to finish off the fuel system today so that all just needs taking off now, tanks will be painted gloss silver by Oli then re fitted hopefully next week.
Fuel lines are all in place now so i cab finally crack on with my carbon battery box and all the wiring to go with it. Not really sure how I'm going to secure the battery yet either. I really want some kind of strap but think ill get some advice from Dave at DJM who made the box as I'm sure the same box was used on Colins legendary mk2 escort the helped build.
Really happy with how the internal fuel lines have worked, i only used 1 p clip per side and staggered the clips so i could keep the hoses as close as possible when routing them then just cable tied each opposite hose where there was no clip, figured I've not got to conform to any standard bar what i want to do myself. As long as it functions correctly I'm not going to get too fussed about whats right and whats wrong. So many views on this one lol so just did what i wanted.
Found my 450 quid brand new 4 spoke the other day too Kinda forgot i'd purchased it Fords eh........we just love em....thanks for looking ill keep the updates flowing now
Here's the battery cut off switch i've decided to use, liked how it had a cover and looked a little better than the naked ones that require a hole in a panel etc, i can mount this on a nice little alloy plate like the gear shifter. Thats about where it will be going too
Here's one last rear end photo just because i can
Thanks for looking again

Nah dude, I got fed up with all the reliability issues, broke it for parts and gave the shell away. It was a cracker too with lots of nice fabricated parts, as you know. After buying the Evo I realised I could have fast, reliable and have no issues with where I left it, as it was replaceable. Kinda like owning a Cossie in the 90's but more reliable. I punted the Evo not long after that as I had some real issues with speed, as in, ISSUES! I was gonna get locked up or die or both flat out everywhere and not giving a toss - wreckless. Think I've learned from it pmsl
