Amazing what people will pay for rust in the shape of a Mk1 Escort estate.

This one even has an indoor garden

escort prices have gone mental over the last few years, but to be fair if you stripped all the mechanical bits of that and the glass etc you'd get your money back im sure.

30 years ago me and my brother cut up a fairly solid dented in the rear quarter mk1 mexico for the engine that we paid £30 for, to put into a rusty mk 1 capri hindsight is a wonderful thing £20k's worth for those two today sigh.

With docs from the mk1 when requested from the dvla you have a nice tax exempt reg for my mk2 estate, I would probably reshell it if my inner wings and chassis number were not mint and have a tax free car at that money,
My guess is that's what's going to happen

I was going to say log book sale but there doesn't seem to be one! No idea wy anyone would pay anything from that, doesn't look like there is anything worth saving on it.

As long as it has a reg a vin plate you could easily get a log book, even if dvla wanted to check your car realistically how many mk1 escorts are on original inner wings and strut tops? Not many and that's the only place they are stamped, I could put the plates on my mk2 and fool anyone
